The killings, oppression, and torture of the Pakistani occupation forces on the Bengalees were pictured through this Speech, and the main goal of this Speech was the necessity and desire of the emergence of an independent State."

Sheikh Hasina also said Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman directed the nation, "Remain prepared with whatever you have (Tomader ja kichu ache tai niye prostut thako."

At the final stage of the struggle for independence, she said, Bangabandhu through his historic 7th March Speech had united the whole nation against the colonial Pakistani forces and the Bengali Nation, and then started taking preparations for taking part in the armed War of Liberation being imbued with his inspirational speech.

The ICT Division published this book in a bid to properly present the historic 7th March Speech of Bangabandhu in various digital platforms.
