Regulatory Affairs Society gets new president, general secy

Salem Azad Chowdhury has been elected president of Regulatory Affairs Society Bangladesh (ARAB) for period of 2017-2020, a press statement said yesterday. The 6th triennial general meeting of the society also elected Jalal Uddin as general secretary of the association at the auditorium of National Press Club, Dhaka, the statement added.

The other members of the newly elected executive committee -- Executive Vice Presidents Abdur Rahman Mostafizur Rahman, Joint Secretary-- Farhad Hossain and Ohedur Rahman, Organizing Secretary- Taslim Ahmed Dipu, Finance Secretary Nur Mohammad Chowdhury (Mihir), Communication and Office Secretary ASM Jobayar.

A seven members’ advisory body, nine members’ board of directors and two standing committees are also elected along with executive committee, the statement added.
