Mohiuddin Chy hospitalised, sent to Dhaka

ABM Mohiuddin Chowdhury, president of Chittagong city unit Awami League (AL) and former mayor of Chittagong City Corporation has been admitted to Square Hospital in Dhaka yesterday on Sunday.

He was taken to capital city by helicopter from Chittagong.  Earlier, at around 11pm on Saturday the veteran leader was admitted to port city’s Max Hospital.  He was given treatment at Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the hospital. On the advice of doctors, Mohiuddin was taken to the Square Hospital for better treatment. From there, he may be taken in Chennai of India or Singapore, said AL leaders.
