Group art exhibition on printmaking begins today

A thirteen-day group art exhibition on printmaking titled Nature Quest by 16 artists will begin today at the Gallery Cosmos in the capitals Mohakhali area. Spanish Ambassador to Bangladesh lvaro de Salas, eminent artist Samarjit Roy Chowdhury and avid art collector Durjoy Rahman Joy will jointly inaugurate the exhibition on the gallery premises at 6pm today. Gallery Cosmos Director Tehmina Enayet will preside over the occasion.
Gallery Cosmos organised the printmaking exhibition of artworks derived from a six-day printmaking (Etching/Intaglio) workshop conducted by renowned Bangladeshi artist Rokeya Sultana and Uttam Kumar Basak, India, from November 3 to 8 at Cosmos Atelier, Cosmos Centre, Malibagh.
The participating artists are-- Rokeya Sultana, Uttam Kumar Basak, Rashid Amin, Anisuzzaman, Nagarbasi Barman, Ashraful Hasan, Sujit Sarker, Md Boni Adam, Palash Baran Biswas, Farzana Rahman Bobby, Sourav Chowdhury, Nadia Yeasmin, Juton Chandra Roy and S M Ehsan.
In this exhibition, total 45 artworks will be displayed at the exhibition. Twenty nine exclusive etching print of Uttam Kumar Basak will also be displayed.
