A local Juba League leader suffered bullet injuries in an attack by miscreants in the city’s Wari area yesterday night, reports UNB. The victim was identified as Abdul Mannan, 30, general secretary of ward-31 unit of Juba League, the youth wing of ruling Awami League. Sources at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) said two miscreants on a motorcycle opened fire on Mannan in front of his residence in Nakshi Rupayon under Wari Police Station around 10:30pm while he was getting down from a rickshaw. With bullet wounds to the head and chest, he was admitted to the DMCH.
