Canadian University of Bangladesh inaugurated a voluntary blood donation club on October 29 at its auditorium in Banani. Popular folk singer Momtaz Begum, who was the chief guest, said those who donate blood are national heroes as the citizens of our country sacrificed their blood to liberate Bangladesh in 1971, said a press release.
