2 held with Tk 1.34 cr

Police held two men along with Tk 1.34 crore from a private car in Soydabad intersection area, western side of Bangabandhu Jamuna Multipurpose Bridge in Sirajganj ysterday afternoon. The arrestees were identified as Babu Islam, 28, driver of the private car  and Abdur Razzaque, 29. Acting on a tip-off, a contingent of patrol police gave signal to intercept a private car in Soydabad , but the driver tried to flee away. Police chased the car and managed to stop it on the bridge. Later, police launched a search and recovered Tk 1,33,17,500 from a sack, kept beneath the seat of the car.
