Abdus Salam appointed as adviser of FSIBL

Abdus Salam has been appointed as adviser of First Security Islami Bank Limited (FSIBL), the bank said in a press statement yesterday.  

Prior to that, he was managing director of Janata Bank Ltd and Bangladesh Krishi Bank.

Abdus Salam completed his B.Com (Honours) in Accounting in 1978 and M.Com in Accounting in 1980 from University of Dhaka. He is also a Chartered Accountant.

He also worked with Agrani Bank Ltd, Sonali Bank Ltd and Karmasangsthan Bank, the statement added.
