Mustafa Anwar, chairman of the board of directors of Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited, was elected chairman of Islamic Banks Consultative Forum (IBCF), says a press release.
Also, AKM Nurul Fazal Bulbul, founder director of EXIM Bank Limited, and Badiur Rahman, chairman of Board of Directors of Al-Arafah Islami Bank, were elected vice-chairmen of IBCF.
The Forum in its 46th meeting on Monday elected them at the meeting room of BAB's office in the capital.
Mustafa Anwar, one of the sponsors of Islami Bank Bangladesh, is the chairman and managing director of Birds Group, one of the largest business conglomerates in the RMG sector in the country. He was also the chairman and advisor of several standing committees of BGMEA.
