Shipping Minister Shajahan Khan yesterday said the government is keen to solve the housing problem of the gar-ment workers and ensure their trade union rights, reports BSS.
“The present government is a workers-friendly government. We are aware of solving the housing problem of garment workers and ensuring the rights of trade union,” he said while speaking as the chief guest at the biennial conference of Bangladesh Pragatishil Garments Sramik Federation at Dhaka Reporters Unity (DRU) in the capital, said a press release.
