Abdur Razzaques solo art show underway

A 15-day solo art exhibition by renowned artist Abdur Razzaque is currently underway at Gallery Chitrak, Dhanmondi in the capital. Presided over by noted Artist Syed Jahangir, Cultural Minister Asaduzzamn Noor inaugurated the exhibition as chief guest on Tuesday. Addressing the inaugural session, Asaduzzaan Noor said, People did not forget Artist Abdur Razzaque yet. A real artist never dies. He still lives through his innovative artworks in the hearts of the people.
Professor Abdur Razzaque was a patriotic person. He highlighted the culture and behaviour of the rural peoples of our country through his artworks, he added.
Vice Chancellor of Jahangirngar University Professor Farzana Islam and noted artist Rafiqun Nabi were also present at the function as special guests. Son of artist Abdur Razzak, Asif Ahmed delivered the welcome speech. Besides, the gallery authority has released a catalogue on the artworks of Professor Abdur Razzak at the programme. The exhibition is open to all everyday from 10 am to 8 pm until November 15.
