A dying minute goal from Mahbubur Rahman Shupil salvaged Bangladesh Under-19 national football team to remain on the track in the ongoing AFC Under-19 age group qualifying round defeating Maldives by 1-0 yesterday at the Republican Central Stadium, Dushanbe, Tazikistan. Bangladesh, who tipped off to remain on the race after halting the hosts Tajikistan in their opening match, had to work hard to mange the win when after struggling along 90 minutes time, scored the most coveted goal 45 seconds before the final whistle. Mamhbubur Rahman Shupil finally found the net after a Jafar Iqbal’s powerful shot rebounded the opponents goalkeeper and the forward utilised the opportunity from two meters distance from the goal-line (1-0).
Bangladesh head coach Mahbubur Rahman Roxy informed all over phone.
