Two probe bodies formed

The authorities of Rajshahi University (RU) formed two separate probe bodies to investigate into the allegations of question leak of MBA of Department of Management Studies and for allegedly misbehaving with colleagues by its former department head. The decision was taken yesterday at a syndicate meeting with RU Vice Chancellor Professor Dr M Abdus Sobhan in the chair. Dr Chittaranjan Misro, professor of history department, has been made the chief of the committee. The other members of the body are Professor Dr Hadibul Alam Prodan, of law dept and Professor ASM Rezaul Karim, of economics dept.
On the other hand, a three-member probe body was formed to investigate the alleged misbehaviour by Prof Saiful Islam, former head of MBA of Department of Management Studies. The committee was headed by Professor of Political Science dept Aminur Rahman. The other members are Professor of Philosophy dept SM Abu Bakar and Professor of Social work dept Rabiul Islam. On December 3 questions of Principal of Accounting of MBA of Department of Management Studies was retaken amid an allegation of the question paper leak.
