SBMC staff, patient’s relatives engage in clash

BARISAL: A clash took place at Sher-e-Bangla Medical College Barisal (SBMC) between interns and the relatives of a patient over a trifling matter on Monday, reports UNB. Witnesses said doctor told the relatives of all patients to go out of the female surgery ward while they were interring the ward. At one stage, some young people locked into an altercation with the doctors which turned into a clash. Dr Nahid, General Secretary of Intern Doctors Association, said four unit’s patients combined here in female ward.
