CSR conference to focus on RMG

The international conference and expo on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) scheduled to be held in the capital on November 21-22 will have special focus on the readymade garments (RMG) sector, a press statement said.

With the theme of Aligning CSR with SDGs, the conference will have panel discussions on the need for behavioral changes in production and consumption in different sectors to achieve the SDG goals.

Besides, the conference will hold training sessions on various topics like occupational health, safety and quality, social accountability SA 8000, risk management, business opportunity of turning waste into resources, cleaner production, ICT, and employee engagement, the statement added.

The sessions will be led by experts from home and abroad, the statement added.

Bizcare, a local communication, HR and CSR firm, is organising the event in collaboration with Seoul-based Global Competitiveness Empowerment Forum and Bangladesh Society for Human Resource Management.
