Death penalty in Tangail boy murder case upheld

The High Court on Monday upheld the trial courts verdict that had awarded death sentence to a man and life-term jail to another for killing a schoolboy after abduction for ransom in Mirzapur upazila in Tangail, reports UNB.
A bench of Justice Bhabani Prasad Singh and Justice Mostafa Jaman Islam passed the order following a petition filed by the convicts.
