200 illegal structures evicted

The Rajdhani Unnayan Kartipakkha (RAJUK) in a daylong drive yesterday evicted 200 including plots, kitchen markets, furniture markets, restaurants, and tea stalls at Uttara in the capital, reports BSS.

RAJUK executive magistrate Jesmine Akhter led the eviction drive which started at 11 am and ended 4 yesterday afternoon.

A total of 15 illegally built plots have been evicted in the drive at Uttara Model Town, Sonargaon Janapath Road, under sector no-13, in Uttara, Adhir Chandra Shil, assistant director of RAJUK told BSS.
