GEA-Search & Rescue, Turkey, Dhaka Community Hospital Trust (DCH Trust) and Asia Pacific Alliance for Disaster Management (A-PAD), Bangladesh are responding to serve the influx of most persecuted Rohingya people through distributing pandemic kits and emergency medical support at Moinarghona village of Balukhali union and Thaingkhali village of Palangkhali union in Ukhiya upazila of Cox’s Bazar.
The pandemic kits contain medicines, blankets, mosquito nets, plate, water glass, torch, soap, thermo flux, men’s clothes, footwear and other necessary things for Rohingya people who are facing ethnic cleansing in Myanmar’s Rakhine state, according to a press release.
Myanmar’s army has been accused of carrying out extrajudicial killings in the restive Rakhine region since 25th August, 2017. As a result, Rohingya people are facing catastrophic humanitarian situations.
