Community Policing Day observed

Gaibandha: Community Policing Day-2017 was observed in Gaibandha for the first time in a befitting manner amid active participation of all concerned, reports BSS.

Marking the day, Gaibandha District Community Policing Coordination Committee has chalked out the elaborate programmes in cooperation with district police.

A discussion was held at the auditorium of ZSA with M Abdus Salam, convener of District Community Policing Coordination Committee in the chair. The speakers stressed the need for strengthening community policing activities by involving the common people to prevent social crimes including drug trading and militancy to ensure a peaceful society.
