The president of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Shaikh Salman Bin Ibrahim Al Khalifa is coming today in Bangladesh when his flight is due to land here at the Shahjalal International Airport at 1pm.
Salman, man of Bahrain, also the vice-president of the FIFA, who is now in Kolkata to watch the Under-17 World Cup football final is coming to Dhaka as a part of his personal tour in Bangladesh and will have a courtesy visit to Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF).
In 2012, the then president of the FIFA Sep Blatter visited Bangladesh to open the Astro turf ground adjacent to BFF Bhaban and after that it is the first visit of any high ups of the world football.
Salman, who was elected the president of the AFC, in his short visit in Bangladesh, will meet the executive committee members of the BFF tomorrow.
President of the BFF, Kazi Mohammed Salahuddin thinks that the visit of the Salman is very important for the BFF.
Meanwhile, BFF is taking preparation to receive the AFC president, who will visit Bangladesh first time after being elected.
