Jamaat ameer arrested

THAKURGAON: Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami of Thakurgaon district unit, Moulana Abdul Hakim, was arrested by the joint forces from his Hajipara residence in the town early yesterday, reports BSS. The joint forces of BGB, Police and Ansar conducted the raid at 2 am. Police said he was arrested on the apprehension of planning sabotage activities on the 10th anniversary of series bomb blast of JMB. Officer-in-Charge of Thakurgaon police station AKM Mehdi Hasan said there are several cases against him.
