Three robbers arrested with booty in city

Police arrested three members of an organized robber gang with a stolen motorcycle and two mobile phones from their possessions conducting separate overnight drives in the capital, reports BSS.

The arrestees were identified as Md Shamim Khan, 29, Md Akash, 26, and Md Amir Hossain.

A team of Khilgaon police arrested them raiding in capital's Khilgaon,

Mohammadpur and Uttara last night responding to secret information and recovered those stolen materials, a Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) release said yesterday.

It added a gang of armed hoodlum on October 21 broke into the house of one Shahab Uddin and robbed valuables including gold ornaments, mobile phone sets, television and motorcycle.

Then Shahab filed a case in this regard on the next day, it continued.

Police said the arrested persons were wanted in several cases lodged different police stations.
