‘BCL’ leader held over CU admission test fraudulence

Police arrested a 'leader of Chittagong University unit Bangladesh Chhatra League' (BCL) on charge of fraudulence in the ongoing admission test of the university from city's Boro Garage area on Thursday, reports UNB. Police identified the arrestee as Ishtiaque Ahmed Sourav, vice-secretary of BCL's CU unit. Acting on information from Nazmul Kabir who was arrested on the same charge on Tuesday, police arrested Ishtiaque at night, said Mobashwer Hossain, senior assistant police commissioner of Panchlaish zone. Police also recovered two hearing devices, Bluetooth and some batteries of mobile phone from his possession, said Abul Kalam, officer-in-charge of Bayezid Bostami Police Station.
