Nat�l Mourning Day observed

The Bangladesh Embassy in Athens observed the National Mourning Day in a befitting manner and with due solemnity ont embassy premises, says press release. The day’s programmes began with hoisting the national flag at half-mast by Md Tarikul Islam, Minister (Local) & CDA on behalf of the embassy in the morning. During the occasion, leaders and members of Bangladeshi expatriate community and political parties and embassy officials were present.  A prayer was offered seeking eternal peace of the souls of the father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman as well as the other martyrs of heinous 15 August 1975 killings.
