Girls’ event semifinals tomorrow

Seven more girls and four boys matches were decided on the second day of the Atom Gum Under-12 School Handball Tournament at Shaheed M Monsur Ali Handball Stadium in the capital yesterday.

Shaheed Bir Uttyam Anwar College will meet Viqarunnisa Noon College and School in the first semifinal tomorrow, while the other semifinal will played between Sunnydale and Heed International on the same day.

The following were yesterday’s results:

Girls’ division: Sunnydale beat South Point School 14-0,  Viqarunnisa Noon School beat Scholastica 3-2, Shaheed Bir Uttyam Anwar College beat Heed International 2-1.  Shaheed Police Smriti College beat Siddeswari  Girls High School 5-4,  Sunnydale beat Dhanmondi Tutorial 14-0,  Heed International beat Siddeswari 7-1 and  Scholastica beat South  Breeze 3-1.

Boys’ division: St Gregory’s beat South Breeze 14-1,  Dhaka Residential Model College beat Dhanmondi Tutorial  13-0, BAF Shaheen College beat Shaheed Police Smriti College 8-5 and  St Gregory’s High School beat Scholastica 13-1.
