The government has taken initiatives to organise an IT job fair in Chittagong to bring both jobseekers and employers on a single platform, reports BSS. As part of the initiative, Leveraging ICT for Growth, Employment and Governance (LICT) project of BCC under ICT Division in collaboration with e-Commerce platform Pickaboo and UK-based Ernst and Young (EY) is going to organise an ‘Pickaboo presents Chittagong IT-ITES Job Fair-2017’ on October 26 at GEC Convention Center, officials said. They said leading 50 Information Technology (IT) and IT Enabled Services (IT-ITES) companies and 10,000 job seekers are expected to attend the job fair to be inaugurated by State Minister for ICT Zunaid Ahmed Palak.
