Police arrested two suspected muggers in connection with Daffodil International University (DIU) student Talha murder case, reports UNB.
The arrestees are Milon, 20, and Sabuj, 19.
Tipped off, a team of Wari division of police conducted a special drive at Kaptan Bazar in the capital on Tuesday evening and arrested the duo, said Wari Police Station officer-in-charge Rafiqul Islam.
Police will brief media about the arrestees at the office of Deputy Commissioner of Wari division (DC Wari) around 10:30 am.
Earlier on October 8, Abu Talha, 22, son of Nuruddin, a 2nd year student of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) department of DIU was stabbed to death reportedly by a gang of muggers at Tikatuli in the capital.
Later on October 14, members of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) arrested Jibon Hossian Litu, 28, the ringleader of a mugger gang.
