DU ‘Ka’, ‘Cha’ unit admission test results published

The admission test results for the first year honours courses of 'Ka-unit' and 'CHA-unit' of Dhaka University (DU) under 2017-2018 academic session were published yesterday as 26.12 per cent candidates passed in the tests, reports BSS.

DU Vice-chancellor Professor Md Akhtaruzzaman announced the results at central admission office in the university's administrative building around 1.00 pm.

He said a total of 19267 admission seekers among 89,508 applicants secured the pass marks against 1,610 seats under 'KA' unit of Science Faculty while the passing rate is 23.37 per cent. The results are available on the university website www.admission.eis.du.ac.bd or students can get the results through sending

SMS using any mobile operator. To get result through SMS, one will have to type “DU KA roll number” and send it to 16321. All students who got pass marks have been asked to fill in the subject selection forms from November 5 to November 15, the VC added.

Meanwhile, the results of 'Cha' unit under Fine Arts Faculty of Dhaka University have also been published. A total of 304 students among some 13,478 admission seekers got pass marks against 135 seats. The results are available on the university website www.admission.eis.du.ac.bd. Beside one can get results through SMS, typing "DU CHA roll number" and sending it to 16321. All Students who got pass marks have been asked to fill in the subject selection forms from October 23 to October 30, the VC added.
