MTMSB meeting held
New committee of Mother Teresa Memorial Society Bangladesh (MTMSB) held its first executive council meeting at its office at Green Road in the capital recently, says a press release.
The committee got approval recently from the Department of Social Services. MTMSB Chief Adviser Dr Mizanur Rahman Shelley was present at the meeting as the chief guest while MTMSB newly elected President Dr Captain (Retd) Masudur Rahman Prince presided over it. At the meeting, Mizanur Rahman said that if they work together with the spirit of Mother Teresa, their association will get international recognition.
The other office bearers of the organisation are vice-presidents - Md Mokhlesur Rahman Toy, Mir Sarwar Ali, Dr Shahabuddin Khan and MA Kamal, general secretary - Md Amzad Hossain Miya, senior joint- general secretary - Mir Ahmed Ali Tutul, joint general secretaries - Dr Mir Zahida Naznin, Iqbal Hossain Rana and Kazi Jahirul Islam Manik, treasurer - Tahmina Parvin, organising secretary - Md Rahmat Ullah.
