A female employee of a clothes outlet was stabbed to death allegedly by her husband in the capital’s Mohammadpur area on Sunday, reports UNB.
The victim was identified as Jesmin Akhter Tumpa, 23, a sales executive of the shop located on the ground floor of a multi-storey building at Razia Sultana Road of Mohammadpur.
Jesmin along with another sales girl Faria was staying in the outlet in the morning when a youth suddenly entered it around 11am and stabbed Tumpa indiscriminately, said officer-in-charge of Mohammadpur Police Station Jamal Uddin Meer.
As Faria raised an alarm, he killer fled the scene, he said.
