A three-day fundraising art exhibition titled ‘Phoenix of Langadu’, for supporting the victims of Langadu communal attack, will begin today at Drik Gallery in the capital’s Dhanmondi area. Terracotta Creatives Multimedia, in association with Parliamentary Caucus on Indigenous Peoples, has arranged the exhibition in partnership with Drik Picture Library Limited, Hill Artists Group and BotTala.
Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister Rashed Khan Menon will be present at the opening ceremony as chief guest, while National Human Rights Commission honourary member Banchita Chakma and programme advisor of ATN Nawajish Ali Khan will be present as special guests. Coordinator of technical committee, Parliamentary Caucus on Indigenous Peoples, Mesbah Kamal will chair the session.
The exhibition will remain open to all everyday from 3pm to 8pm until October 18.
