A six day long ‘Central Research Review and Planning Workshop-2017’ of Bangladesh Agricultural Research Institute (BARI) began at Kazi Badrudduza Auditorium of the institute on Saturday, says a press release.
In every year, research review and planning workshop arranged by BARI in three steps (Regional, Internal and central).
Regional review and planning workshop organised in the eight regions of Bangladesh (Rangpur, Ishardi (Pabna), Jessore, Barisal, Hathajari (Chittagong), Akbarpur (Moulvibazar), Comilla, Jamalpur and Gazipur). Internal & central research review and planning workshop organized in BARI heads quarter, Gazipur.
The objective of the workshop is to evaluate the developed technologies and to take new research program according to demand of the country.
Minister, Ministry of Agriculture, Matia Chowdhury inaugurated the workshop as the chief guest and senior secretary, Ministry of Agriculture, Mohammad Moinuddin Abdullah was present as special guest. Director General of BARI Dr. Abul Kalam Azad presided over the inaugural session.
