70 Barisal BNP men sued

At least 70 BNP leaders and activists have been sued by Barisal Model Kotwali Police on Saturday night for their alleged involvement with assaulting police.
Police raided houses of almost all the BNP leaders and workers on the night. Most of them are fled from the town avoiding the police arrest.
Shah Md Awlad Hosen, officer in charge of Barisal Model Kotwali police, said that BNP activists attacked on police on the city road during their programme on Saturday.
Police arrested eight BNP men in this connection, he added.
