Schoolgirl rescued after abduction

JHALAKATHI: A schoolgirl was rescued yesterday by the law-enforcers four-weeks after her abduction from a house in the district town, reports BSS.

Police arrested Masum, from Betra village in Sadar upazila, in this connection.

On September 18 the girl was abducted on the way to her school at Khulna village of Sadar upazila. Following the abduction the girl's father submitted an allegation against five people before the District Women and Children Repression Prevention Tribunal.
