Bangladesh ‘A’ Team sealed the four-day unofficial Test against the visiting Ireland ‘A’ Team by five wickets on the fourth and final day of the one-off four-day fixture at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium (SICS) in Sylhet yesterday.
The victory will be the biggest boost for the local side prior to the five-match one-day series, which is scheduled to commence in Cox’s Bazar from October 17.
It was anticipated on the third day to see the course of the match that Bangladesh will be won the match if any miracle is not happened. And so, the last day was turned to be a formality for the home side as they overhauled the target after the lunch break what they had required on the final day.
