Cleaner Kunming

After years of conservation efforts, the natural enviroment is becoming better in Kunming, capital city of Yunnan Province, espeically the Dianchi Lake which lies in the southwestern suburb of the city and is the largest of its kind in Yunnan. The lake was polluted years ago and its water qulity deteriorated. But in recent years, it becomes cleaner because Kunming has been making tremendous efforts to fight the pollution. For example, the city recovered wetlands and strictly prohibited wastewater into rivers around the lake.
