‘Drug peddler’ arrested with 20,000 yaba pills

Department of Narcotics Control (DNC) yesterday in a drive in the city’s Sholoshahar area arrested an alleged drug peddler along with 20,000 contraband yaba tablets.

The arrestees were identified as Nazim Uddin,28, son of Ramij Uddin, resident of city’s Barisal Colony.

 “Acting on trip-off we have conducted a drive at a Chittagong bound train of Doahazari route at around 8am.

Searching on the body of the suspect we have recovered the 20,000 yaba tablets. The arrestee Nazim Uddin is a professional drug peddler.
