Three students, including a JU and KUET, were detained at Jahangirnagar University for their involvement with adopting unfairness at the admission test under 2017-18 academic sessions yesterday.
The detainees were identified as Kamruzzaman Razzak, a second semester student of Mechanical Engineering department in Khulna University of Engineering and Technology (KUET), Mohaiminul Islam Salman, a first year student of JU geological Science department and Abdullah Al Noman of Noakhali Government College.
Sources of JU Proctor office said, ‘Kamruzzaman Razzak was caught from Social Science Faculty while he sat in A unit exam alleging over proxy about at 10.30 am.
Later, the two other involved were detained in this connection. Razzak was hired to attend the written test as proxy for 3 lakh contact while Salman coordinated the process, said Assistant Proctor Mehedi Iqbal.
