President M Abdul Hamid is set to visit his village home in Mithamain upazila and attend several programmes in Kishoreganj this afternoon, reports BSS. "President Hamid will leave Dhaka for a four-day visit to his home district Kishoreganj from tomorrow," President's press secretary Mohammad Joynal Abedin told BSS yesterday. The helicopter, carrying the President, is scheduled to leave Dhaka at about 2 pm tomorrow.
President Hamid will hold a view-exchange-meeting with local political leaders, distinguished and respectable personalities, media persons at Abdul Hamid Auditorium of Mithamain upazila at 3.30 pm tomorrow, according to programme schedule.
On his four-day visit in Kishoreganj, he will also attend several programmes at Bajitpur College, Kotiadi Pilot Model High School, and Kishoreganj Circuit House of the district.
