CHITTAGONG: Narcotics Control Department (NCD) arrested two newly intrude Myanmar citizen with 3000 pieces of yaba tablets from city's station road area under Kotwali thana yesterday morning, reports BSS.
The arrestee were identified as Mohammad Abul Kashem, 23 and Raza Miah, 18, both hailed from Mouchony refugee camp under Ukhia thana of Cox's bazaar district.
A team of NCD conducted a drive at the city's station road area under Kotwali thana around 7.35 pm. On a secret information, the NCD team arrested them with 3000 pieces yaba tablets, said Zillur Rahman, Assistant Director of NCD Chittagong.
The arrestee had entered into Bangladesh before one month ago and involved in drug trading in the port city after that, he added.
A case was filed with city's Kotwali police station in this connection.
