Chitagong: A youth was stabbed to death by a group of unidentified miscreants in Soparipara area under Doublemooring thana in the city yesterday

The victim was identified as Mohammad Emon, 26, son of Abdul Hakim, hailed from Soparipara area under Doublemooring thana in the city. Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH) sources said, Emon was stabbed by a group of unidentified youths indiscriminately in front of his residence this morning.

Locals brought Emon at CMCH but the attending doctors declared him dead.

Another report adds: A fire gutted a rice mill and poultry-feed shop at Shantirhat bazaar of Rangunia upazila of the district on Friday night.
