Five of fraud gang held

Detectives in a drive arrested five suspected members of a fraud gang, involved in making fake government seals and certificates, from the capital’s Fakirapool area early Thursday, reports UNB. The arrestees are-Md Abdul Barik, Mohammad Ali, Sabbir Hossain, Shahidul Hoque alias Nizam and and Md Morshed Bhuiyan. Tipped off, a special team of Serious Crime Investigation Division raided Hashem Ali's house at Kumar Goli  and arrested them, said Joint Commissioner (Detective Branch) of the DMP Abdul Baten . The team also recovered 577 fake seals of different government offices and officials, including, Foreign Ministry, SPs and OCs, 1450 fake police clearance certificates, two computers and one printer from their possessions.
