Assam team to play handball ties in Dhaka

Bangladesh Handball Federation (BHF) is organizing a four-match series Index Dhaka-Assam Friendly Handball with the Assam handball team due to start from today.
Three teams from Bangladesh, Dhaka divisional handball team, Bangladesh Ansar and Bangladesh Police handball team.
Bangladesh Ansar will play two matches while Dhaka Division team will play the first match today at 4pm, all the matches will take place at the Shaheed M Mansur Ali Indoor Handball Stadium in the capital.
Bangladesh Ansar will play the second match and the last match of the series tomorrow and on October 8 respectively.
Organsiers informed all in aprs conference yesterday when the general secretary of the BHF Asaduzzaman Kohinoor said that from this competition they will pick talents.
Kohinoor also informed that Bangladesh will participate in the Asian Handball Championship to be held in last week of December at Busan, Korea.
The Asian Handball Championship will also the qualifying phase of the handball World Cup. Bangladesh will also play in the Asian Games Handball in Jakarta.
Jeanie Hussein, secretary of the competition and Iqbal Bin Anwar cooperative directive of Walton Group and one of the sponsors were resent in the press meet.
