4 motorbike lifters held in Joypurhat

Joypurhat: Police in separate drives arrested four alleged members of inter-district motorbike lifters’ gang and recovered a motorcycle from their possession at Mission road in the district town of Dinajpur on Friday, reports UNB.

The arrestees were identified as Sohel Hossain, 25, a resident of Mission road of the district town, Monir Hossain Munnu, 28, of Mohrapur village in Hakimpur upazila, Jahangir Hossain, 38, a resident of Paharpur village, and Shahin, 32, of Baluadanga village of Hakimpur upazila.

Abdul Momin, officer-in-charge (investigation) of Joypurhat Sadar Police Station, said police conducted separate drives in the district and arrested four alleged motorcycle lifters and also recovered a motorcycle from their possession which was stolen on September 18 from a marriage ceremony function held in the district town.
