Medical (MBBS/BDS) admission test will be held simultaneously across the country on October 2 for all public and private medical and dental colleges under academic session 2014-2015.
The announcement came at a meeting presided over by the Health Minister Mohammad Nasim at the Secretariat yesterday.
The admission seekers of both private and public medical and dental colleges have to qualify through an hour-long test of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ).
According to the data of directorate general of health services (DGHS), there are 93 medical colleges both public and private with a total 9,112 seats. Of them, 29 public medical colleges have 3,162 seats and 64 private medical colleges have 5,950 seats for the admission of MBBS course.
