President Abdul Hamid returned home after his state visit to Vietnam, reports BSS. A regular flight of Bangladesh Biman carrying the President arrived at the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 7.15 pm.
The President was received by Industries Minister Amir Hossain Amu, Commerce Minister Tofail Ahmed, Foreign Minister AH Mahmood Ali, cabinet secretary, diplomatic corps, British High Commissioner Robert Gibson, Chiefs of the three services and other top civil and military officials at the airport.
Earlier, the President left Ho Chi Minh City by a flight of Singapore Airlines for Singapore.
The President left Dhaka for Vietnam with a stopover in Thailand on August 7. On his way back to Dhaka, the President exchanged pleasantries with passengers on board of the flight.
