Popular theatre troupe Natya Teertha staged the 62nd show of its much-acclaimed production titled ‘Dwip’ yesterday evening at the Studio Theatre Hall of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy (BSA). Scripted by Utpal Dutta and directed by Tapon Hafiz, the play is about lack of human faith and ideology, and its serious consequences. The play depicts a theme that a man with his intelligence can deceive others, but he will be responsible to his own conscience. Thus, the man who has lost his principles is gradually hit by his conscience. The cast of the play included Tapon Hafiz, Sadia Islam Shanta, Shamsur Rahman, Mahmudur Rahman and Maruf Tomal among others. Thandu Raihan works on light design for the play, while Foyez Zahir designed the stage.
