Brahmanbaria: Two people were killed and five others injured in two separate accidents in Sadar and Ashuganj upazilas on Wednesday morning, reports UNB.
In Ashuganj, one was killed and five others injured in a head-on collision between a Dhaka-bound bus of ‘Uttara Paribahan’ and a Sylhet-bound pick-up van coming from opposite direction at Baigor area of the upazila.
The deceased were identified as Sohel Mia, 20, son of A. Zalil, hailing from Nalitabari upazila of Sherpur district.
Younus Mia, Officer-in-Charge of Khati hata Highway Police Station confirmed the incident and recovered the body and sent it to Brahmanbaria Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy.
On the other hand, a man was crushed under a train at Borohoron area in Sadar upazila. He could not be identified immediately, said Md Sanaullah, Officer-in-Charge of Brahmanbaria Police Stasion
