A youth Rohingya refugee, with stabbed injuries, was admitted to Chittagong Medical College and Hospital (CMCH) yesterday morning as he managed to cross the border into Bangladesh fleeing the wave of violence unleashed by the Myanmarese army.
He has been identified as Abdur Rahim, 24, son of Makbul Ahmed. He is resident of Maungdaw area
in Rakhine State of Myanmar. Alauddin Talukder, Assistant Sub-inspector of Chittagong District Police confirmed his entry and later admission to CMCH. He was undergoing treatment at 26 number ward.
