Youth dies inhaling toxic gas in Faridpur

Faridpur: A young man died and two others fell sick yesterday inhaling toxic gas in a septic tank in Khabaspur area of Sadar upazila, reports UNB.

The deceased was identified as Riazul, 17.

Faridpur Fire Station master Md Safuzzaman said three youths were cleaning a septic tank of a local’s house around 12 pm.

As they fell sick inside the septic tank fire service men rushed to the spot and recovered the body of Riazul and rescued two others.

Injured Obaidul, 30 and Rubel, 18 were rushed to Faridpur Medical College Hospital.
